Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got
Taking a break from all your worries sure would help a lot
Wouldn't you like to get away?
Sometimes you want to go - where everybody knows your name
and they're always glad you came
You wanna be where you can see - our troubles are all the same
You wanna be where everybody knows your name
You wanna go where people know people are all the same
You wanna go where everybody knows your name
Taking a break from all your worries sure would help a lot
Wouldn't you like to get away?
Sometimes you want to go - where everybody knows your name
and they're always glad you came
You wanna be where you can see - our troubles are all the same
You wanna be where everybody knows your name
You wanna go where people know people are all the same
You wanna go where everybody knows your name
I suppose, in a lot of ways, this adequately describes the feeling of home. I suppose this is what I have missed most about Nashville, about being away from that place. I suppose there are feelings that an environment grants you simply after you have invested yourself and time in that place.
In some ways I suppose it's silly to equate my home, Concord Rd. with a bar, but it is fitting nonetheless
I don't know that I will ever feel as at home anywhere as I did, and still do, there.
But I'm starting to. And I'm so very thankful for that.

What a sweet post. I'm glad you're finding home.
P.S. I tried to comment on the last post, but I still don't have my internet issues resolved. Just pretend it was articulate and inspiring.
